Requirements
  • The candidate must have 5 to 10 years of work experience.
  • The candidate must have 3 to 6 years of experience in accounting or fund accounting.
  • The candidate must have 2 to 4 years of experience using the Yardi platform.
  • The candidate must have a strong understanding of real estate and real asset fund structures, accounting, and processes.
  • The candidate must be capable of supporting requirements and testing for business or application requests.
  • The candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • The candidate must be fluent in written and spoken English.
  • The candidate must be able to communicate and present information to clients, stakeholders, and staff at all levels of an organization.
  • The candidate must have SQL script-writing experience.
Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Client Operations team in Canada to ensure optimum system usage and remediate system configuration or processing methodology where required.
  • Work virtually and globally to deliver consistent service to internal and external stakeholders irrespective of their location or time zone.
  • Support the Product Lead on product roadmap items, including system integrations, platform enhancements, and new acquisitions as needed.
  • Keep up to date on the latest system innovations and deliver them where appropriate.
  • Collaborate with Client Servicing teams to ensure consistency of service delivery.
  • Support the Business Development and Client Integration teams in attracting new business and onboarding clients to the Target Operating Model.
  • Provide ad hoc support and solutions, including ad hoc changes, creating investor reports, and ensuring that the operating model is followed by Fund Accountants.
  • Assist with the onboarding process as required.
  • Manage requests and liaise with internal and external support teams to obtain solutions to issues raised by end users.
  • Cover all agreed applications, including cross-training team members to eliminate key-person risk.
  • Work with Operational Solutions and the Global Training team to refresh and coordinate training on applications and new functionality, including changes or enhancements to in-scope applications.
  • Provide end-user support for system troubleshooting and functionality failures, with communication managed within the agreed service-level agreement.
  • Act as a subject-matter expert for the in-scope application regarding system changes and project requests.
  • Improve the standard of global system support and training to ensure service-level agreements are met and training content quality and delivery target the appropriate audience.
  • Align with IT, Product, and Operations to create an effective support structure.
  • Align project deliverables with the strategic goals of the business.
  • Liaise directly with IT during proprietary-application upgrades, technical support, and enhancements.
  • Liaise directly with Product and the vendor for vendor applications when required.
  • Coordinate with the vendor or IT during upgrades to obtain functionality-change documentation, communicate changes to end users, and liaise with training and procedure-documentation teams to roll out upgrades successfully.
  • Liaise with Operational Solutions and Global Training to assess functionality updates for their impact on processes and training content.
  • Ensure issues are fully resolved and maintain constant communication with Operations.
  • Ensure feedback is addressed and used to consistently improve the program.
