Responsibilities

Documenting key strategies and initiatives, and working with internal Product Leaders to execute on these programs
Providing an independent perspective and acting as a sounding board for ideas
Developing audit mechanisms to drive process efficiency and best practice adoption
Collaborating with Product Leaders to manage the annual and quarterly planning processes and implement key best practices/processes (e.g. annual narratives, press releases, opex reviews)
Assisting in agenda/topics for key EPD and cross-functional discussions, as well as Board of Directors meetings
Acting as consultant or supporter to various internal teams or projects

2+ years working in Product Development function (Engineering or Product Management preferred)
2+ years supervising/managing technical staff
MBA degree

About the Strategy Associate to the CTO Position:

The Strategy Associate to the CTO is a highly visible role which serves as a technical and product development liaison, program leader, and consultant across the engineering and product development (EPD) organization. This individual will report directly to the CTO and work closely with executive and senior leadership across the engineering and product management teams.

What You’ll Do:

Provide leverage to the CTO and EPD Leadership by driving strong operational management and processes that increase management efficacy and efficiency:

Documenting key strategies and initiatives, and working with internal Product Leaders to execute on these programs.
Providing an independent perspective and acting as a sounding board for ideas.
Developing audit mechanisms to drive process efficiency and best practice adoption.
Collaborating with Product Leaders to manage the annual and quarterly planning processes and implement key best practices/processes (e.g. annual narratives, press releases, opex reviews).
Assisting in agenda/topics for key EPD and cross-functional discussions, as well as Board of Directors meetings.
Acting as consultant or supporter to various internal teams or projects.

Partner with the CTO and EPD Leadership to audit changes and progress in the various product units by:

Attending product unit review meetings, providing feedback, and asking questions on areas that stand out.
Ensuring strong follow-up management on action items and questions.
Performing ad hoc deep dives in collaboration with functional teams.
Leading projects that require a single-threaded owner outside the existing program areas.

What You’ll Need:
