Requirements
  • 10+ years of sales enablement and marketing experience that includes enterprise B2B, SMB B2B, consumer, digital marketing, PR and communications
  • 5+ years leadership experience including leading orgs with multiple management levels
  • Demonstrable experience establishing and leading sales enablement and marketing in a dynamic and fast-paced start-up environment
  • Successful track record of leveraging data and analytics to understand performance and improve results
  • Significant experience with sales and marketing technology and operations in order to quickly begin building and scaling the system that will drive growth and retention
  • Commitment to leading with humility, curiosity, and transparency, with a willingness to roll-up-your-sleeves and dig into the work
Responsibilities
  • Lead marketing and sales enablement across Upside merchant teams to: increase merchant acquisition velocity, increase merchant satisfaction and retention, and develop and ensure go-to-market messaging consistency
  • Bring insight selling into Upside merchant sales and marketing teams and pair it with Behavioral Design approaches to increase effectiveness of our sales and marketing efforts
  • Lead merchant marketing team for brand building, lead generation, and retention merchant efforts
  • Lead sales enablement team to improve sales force operations and scalability through sales team training, sdsales material creation, and measuring sales force effectiveness
  • Work cross functionally with analytics, research, and product teams to develop necessary insight to support Challenger messaging approach
  • Impress a rigorous, metrics-driven approach across all sales and marketing channels
  • Build, manage, and coach a high-performing marketing & sales enablement team
  • Manage sales and marketing budget and expenditures
  • Work closely with company leadership to define company objectives and translate those objectives into sales & marketing strategies and tactics
