Requirements
  • Completion of four years of high school plus additional specialized courses or training.
  • Nursing Assistant Certification in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts or equivalent.
  • Over three months of related work experience.
  • Current CPR Certification.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and the COVID-19 virus, or obtain an approved medical or personal exemption by signing the required statement.
Responsibilities
  • Perform office, secretarial, and related duties within and in support of the assigned unit.
  • Perform patient care duties including basic care, personal hygiene, mobility, nutritional support, and maintaining the patient environment.
  • Coordinate services to ensure completion of daily activities for the assigned nursing unit.
  • Plan, organize, and direct unit patient-focused support activities, including coordinating ancillary patient and unit services and requests for equipment and supplies.
  • Assist the Manager, Patient Care or designee with patient care and related duties as directed.
Desired Qualifications
  • Computer skills, including knowledge of the Meditech computer system and related secretarial experience.
