Requirements
  • A current Aerodrome Reporting Officer licence is required.
  • An Aeronautical Radio Operators Certificate is required.
  • A CASA Radio Certificate is required.
  • A National Police Clearance, or the ability to obtain one, is required.
  • The candidate must be able to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing.
  • A Dangerous Goods Certificate is required.
Responsibilities
  • Support the condition of the aerodrome to ensure safe aircraft operations.
  • Perform passenger check-ins and compile manifests and other administrative records.
  • Provide aircraft ground support.
  • Clean and maintain aerodrome facilities, buildings, and grounds.
  • Support the transport team by operating bus services for the mine site.
  • Support airport activities in accordance with CASR 139 and Manual of Standards Part 139.
  • Support the safety, security, and serviceability of the airport.
  • Conduct daily serviceability inspections.
  • Monitor and record wildlife activity and provide wildlife dispersal when required.
  • Organise and oversee terminal maintenance duties, including runway-area weeding, PAPI-light cleaning, and removal of foreign object debris.
  • Update and maintain aerodrome manuals and related documents.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to provide current information regarding delays, incidents, hazards, and service delivery.
  • Perform other duties or tasks reasonably requested by site leadership.
Desired Qualifications
  • A forklift ticket and bus driver qualifications, including an HR licence and PTD Authorisation, are desirable.
