Responsibilities
  • Performs field density testing of soil, asphalt, and aggregate.
  • Performs field quality control tests on plastic concrete.
  • Performs routine laboratory testing of soil, aggregate, concrete, asphalt, and other construction materials.
  • Observes foundation installation operations.
  • Observes non-destructive tests on welded and bolted connections when certification is not required.
  • Observes reinforcing steel.
  • Ability to read and understand project plans and specifications.
