  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience deploying device-level security features into physical production hardware.
  • Expert knowledge of bootloader configurations such as U-Boot Verified Boot and Barebox, and Linux kernel storage and security subsystems including dm-crypt and dm-verity.
  • Deep understanding of ARM TrustZone and ARMv7-A/ARMv8-A processor security architectures, including Exception Levels EL1–EL3.
  • Experience implementing SELinux and AppArmor policies and using Linux containment tools such as cgroups and namespaces.

Desired Qualifications
  • Strong foundational knowledge of symmetric and asymmetric cryptography, hashing algorithms such as SHA-256 and SHA-384, public key infrastructure, and physical Hardware Security Modules.
  • Experience working with contract manufacturers or internal factory lines to deploy secure key-injection and fuse-burning protocols.
  • Experience with embedded container runtimes such as LXC and crun or lightweight sandboxing frameworks for resource-constrained architectures.
  • Experience designing secure versioning and hardware-enforced anti-rollback strategies for OTA updates.
