Internship Program

At Five9 we are committed to providing an exceptional experience for our interns.  We tailor our program to provide participants with real, impactful work, contributing directly to the continued success of Five9.  Through our Speaker Series and Events, you’ll have the opportunity to meet and learn from some of the best in the business.

The is a full time, paid internship based out of our headquarters in San Ramon, CA.  The program runs 12 weeks with the opportunity to start in late May or early June.

The Team

The Account Management team is responsible for retention and expansion of all Five9 in-base clients.  This includes engaging with Five9 Administrators and stakeholders with each client helping them maximize their investment in Five9.

Responsibilities

• Assist in updating/maintaining accurate business information including general company information (size, industry, etc) 
• Business information, research and industry knowledge/intelligence
• Determine market position and business opportunity
• Introductory fundamentals to contracts (basic components)
• Introduction to business fundamentals (data integrity, accuracy, communication)
• Understanding the fundamentals of negotiation
• Customer engagement (from a business (B2B) perspective)
• Basic marketing support efforts (customer invites/post event follow up)

Qualifications

• Rising college senior or above, pursuing an undergrad degree in Data Science, Business Analyst, Sales and Marketing.  
• Must be able to work out of the San Ramon, CA headquarters this summer.

• Strong Communication skills, ability to communicate with associates at all levels
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently
