Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with a strong focus on Kubernetes and containerization technologies.
  • Proven experience in designing, deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters in production environments, with strong experience setting up Kubernetes on bare metal.
  • Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure, with experience in their Kubernetes services (e.g., EKS, GKE, AKS).
  • Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Helm for automating Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to mentor and guide junior engineers.
Responsibilities
  • Design, architect and extend a scalable, secure, and resilient Kubernetes cloud infrastructure that ensures high availability, performance, and security for customer-facing applications.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and management of containerized applications within the Kubernetes cloud.
  • Automate infrastructure management tasks using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Helm, ensuring consistent and efficient operations.
  • Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using tools like Prometheus and Grafana to ensure the health and performance of the Kubernetes cloud.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the broader engineering goals.
