- Minimum 5 years manufacturing experience in consumer electronics, automotive, medical device, semiconductor capital equipment, or aerospace industries

- Assist in robot production, test, and troubleshooting
- Work closely with the design engineers for design for manufacturing (DFM) feedback
- Create work instructions for in-house fabrication of electromechanical assemblies, final integration, and systematic acceptance tests
- Adopt and tailor manufacturing and quality standards from automotive, aerospace, and medical industries to meet appropriate level of scope for a hospital-assistant robot
- Resolve non-conformances found in the production process and disposition deviations with rationale acceptable for deployment
- Develop production floor per appropriate clean room, ESD, and 5S guidelines
- Optimize and automate fabrication, assembly, and test processes
- Ship completed robots to hospitals with full confidence in the as-built reliability of the hardware
- Outsourcing Experience
- Familiarity with FMEA's, Cpk's, Pareto Charts, Process Optimization, and other Six Sigma tools
- Experience with 5S, Kanban, and other Lean Manufacturing techniques
- Scripting and database experience a plus
- Knowledge of different plastic manufacturing techniques (injection molding, vacuum forming, rotational molding, etc.) and their pros/cons
- Network of key manufacturing resources to build a robot supply chain at volume
- Six Sigma Certification
