Requirements
- Excellent team leadership and organizational skills with an ability to prioritize multiple requests and projects
- Strong technical and business acumen with ability to drive change through influence and excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of how to build an engaged online audience, experience with producing or guiding the production of editorial content, and familiarity with or willingness to learn SEO best practices

- Experience with newsletter content creation and audience acquisition
- 5+ years experience in program managements with 2+ years of people management experience

Responsibilities
- Defines vision and strategy for STM teams, coordinating across stakeholders to drive progress towards goals
- Translate the strategy into a tangible execution plan by defining clear KPIs and objectives for the team to deliver against. Maintain tracking of progress towards goals and create transparency around performance achieving goals at a team level
- Develops complete knowledge of STM ecosystem, including partnerships, site operations, and revenue and event tracking
- Constantly evaluates revenue partnerships and how they fit with business strategy, scopes new opportunities to grow site revenue, and acts on team priorities
- Supports business development in sourcing new advertising partnerships and growing email revenue through increased audience engagement
- Prioritizes site improvements, partner integrations, and SEO optimizations with the engineering team, balancing business value, speed, and maintainability of infrastructure
- Ensures appropriate compliance with all applicable laws, prioritizes a positive customer experience, and protects and develops brand reputation
- Provides mentorship and promotes growth and autonomy on the team, working with each member to develop individual growth plans that connect organizational needs and individual strengths and aspirations
- Creates a culture of accountability while promoting learning and agility
- Identifies inefficiencies in processes and develops solutions with the team
