Requirements
  • An active Secret clearance is required and must be maintainable.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the respective technical or professional discipline, including five years in the Department of Defense, or 15 years of directly related experience, including eight years in the Department of Defense, is preferred.
  • Experience with Technical Order Management (TOMA/TODA).
  • Experience with technical data management and technical order lifecycle support.
  • Experience with Technical Order Change Technical Orders (TCTOs).
  • Experience with configuration management and Configuration Control Board (CCB) support.
  • Experience with technical documentation development and change management.
  • Experience preparing and coordinating Air Force Forms 873, 874, and 875.
  • Experience with logistics support for Department of Defense weapon systems.
  • Experience with Digital Technical Order (DTO) implementation and transition support.
  • Knowledge of Air Force technical order regulations and governing guidance.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and Agile collaboration tools.
  • Ability to work independently and within a small team.
  • Ability to collaborate with government personnel, military members, and large prime contractors.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and documentation management abilities.
  • Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with preparing Technical Order Change Technical Orders to support configuration changes and inspections for Government Equipment Specialist approval.
  • Assist with completing supporting documents, including Form 873, TCTO Requirement; Form 874, TCTO Supply Data Requirements; Form 875, TCTO Programming Document; and the coordination sheet.
  • Support execution of Configuration Control Board directives by partnering with technical content managers to manage publication and distribution of technical order changes.
  • Assist program offices in planning and executing the transition to a digital technical order system.
  • Support establishment, coordination, documentation, and justification of technical order data requirements.
  • Develop methods, plans, and feedback-control requirements to meet technical order management objectives.
  • Review and recommend changes to specifications and regulations, draft new specifications and regulations, and support assigned technical-order projects and related assignments.
  • Review technical-order database products daily and correct data as necessary.
  • Track the technical-order system for program change requests and advise the government when further action is required.
