About the role:

This role delivers quality care to patients on Oscar’s platforms via phone and messaging. This role will serve as a supervising physician to other Advanced Practice Providers.

You will report into the Medical Director, Virtual Urgent Care.

Pay Transparency:

The base pay for this role is: $99 - $149 per hour for patient consultations.

$200 per APP per month for APP Supervision duties.

Responsibilities:

Provide medical care virtually (both by phone and message) in alignment with Oscar Medical Group guidelines, practices and policies
Provide direct oversight and supervision of nurse practitioners and physician assistants within state by state regulations
Collaborate with MAs, RNs, and other providers across service lines
Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Board-certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Supervision experience of Nurse Practitioners (NP) and Physician Assistants (PA)
Must be eligible for IMLCC (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact)
Must be licensed in GA & TX
3+ years experience in urgent care, ER or outpatient family medicine practice

Bonus points:

2+ years of Telemedicine experience
Fluent in Spanish
Licensed in OMG states: AZ, CA, CT, FL, GA, IA, IL, KS, MI, NC, NJ, NY, OH, OK, PA, TX, VA
