Corpay launches Virtual Assistant in the UK to help finance teams see spend clearly and act faster.

Corpay launches Virtual Assistant in the UK to help finance teams see spend clearly and act faster. * Management * 11.08.2026 10:47 am Research commissioned by global S&P500 corporate payments company, Corpay, reveals UK finance teams continue to spend significant time on manual expense, invoice and supplier payment administration. Addressing that challenge, Corpay today announced the UK launch of its AI-powered Virtual Assistant, available within Corpay Complete, helps finance teams see spend clearly and move tasks forward faster. The Virtual Assistant is now available to all new and existing UK customers. The research, among 300 UK CFOs, found that 86% of finance teams spend six or more hours per person, per week on expense, invoice and supplier payment administration, with 83% saying their spend processes remain more manual than they should be. The findings underline the ongoing administrative burden facing finance teams. The Virtual Assistant lets finance teams ask questions in plain language about card spend, expenses, supplier payments and approvals, then surfaces the reports, tasks and information they need without searching through the platform. With the Virtual Assistant, finance teams can: * Surface card spend by department, merchant or month * Find expense reports waiting for approval * Identify card transactions that are missing receipts * Review Virtual Cards awaiting approval * Check the status of supplier payments and invoices pending review * Generate reports and spend summaries without manually searching the platform * Ask the Virtual Assistant to approve actions on your behalf there and then Finance teams remain in control throughout. Every action the Virtual Assistant supports requires user confirmation before anything is approved, rejected, submitted or changed and access is based on each user's role and permissions. "Finance teams don't need more information. They need quicker access to the information that matters," said Piero Macari, Vice President of Products at Corpay. "With the Virtual Assistant, finance teams can ask a question in plain language and find exactly what they need, whether that's a report, a spend pattern or an approval task, without digging through the platform. It's a practical step that helps people stay in control while spending less time searching and more time acting." Corpay Complete combines corporate cards, virtual cards, accounts payable automation and cross-border payments in a single platform that integrates with existing ERP systems. With the introduction of Corpay AI, finance teams can access information, reports and approval workflows more quickly through plain-language questions, rather than navigating the platform manually.
