Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in mechanical design and engineering

  • Experience with FEA and tolerance analysis
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials selection
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Design products with a focus on ease of assembly and maintenance
  • Engage with scientific journals, papers, and literature to integrate the latest engineering and physics principles
  • Collaborate closely with suppliers to ensure components and subsystems are used effectively
  • Conduct make vs. buy analyses to identify opportunities for cost reduction and performance improvement
  • Develop inspection plans, support quality assurance activities
  • Maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOMs)
