About the Job 

Blackbird is looking for an Executive Coordinator to provide administrative support to our Founder and CEO and ensure smooth office operations in our NYC headquarters. This role is critical in enabling our CEO to focus on strategic priorities by managing day-to-day administrative tasks, coordinating office needs, and company logistics.

The ideal candidate is a proactive and highly organized individual who excels at managing shifting priorities and maintaining discretion with confidential information. They are resilient, intrinsically motivated, and demonstrate a self-starter attitude, capable of thriving in the fast-paced demands of a startup environment. With a creative mindset and innovative problem-solving skills, they approach challenges with resourcefulness and adaptability, driving efficiency and effectiveness in all tasks.

Responsibilities 

• Manage CEO’s calendar, appointments, and travel arrangements with impeccable attention to detail
• Coordinate internal and external meetings, ensuring proper notice and agendas, providing valuable context and prep, as well as follow ups that drive efficiency and value
• Serve as the primary contact for office management tasks, including vendor management, office supplies, and workspace organization
• Handle communications and manage investor engagements on behalf of the CEO
• Plan and execute team events, all hands, offsites, and in-office experiences to foster team connection and culture
• Assist with special projects as needed, providing support on cross-functional initiatives
• Serve as a culture ambassador, driving an in-office experience that reflects Blackbird’s values

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience supporting senior executives in a dynamic, high-growth environment
• Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to anticipate needs
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage professionally with all levels of staff and external contacts
• Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
• Strong proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar) and experience with Slack, and other productivity tools

Nice to Haves

• Experience in a startup or tech environment
• Interest and experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry
• Familiarity with office management software and tools

Pay Transparency Notice & Benefits

Depending on your work location and experience the target annual salary for this position can range from: [$65k - $100k] USD. This range does not include the equity component of the overall compensation package. Disclosure in accordance with New York City’s Pay Transparency Law.

Full time offers from Blackbird may also include stock options, benefits (including medical, dental, vision, flexible time off, 401(k)), and some not-so-standard, extra-fun perks — subject to applicable taxes and based on eligibility.
