Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in business development or a related field is required.
  • 10-15 years of demonstrable experience in a high-level business development or marketing role, including management experience.
  • Candidates must ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations and the organization's Code of Ethics & Business Conduct.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills are desired.
  • Strong relationship-building skills are desired.
Responsibilities
  • Uphold the organization's mission, core values, and guiding principles by providing an exceptional service experience to colleagues and members through consistent demonstration of service excellence behaviors.
  • Evaluate and develop the business case for field of membership expansion in accordance with corporate strategy.
  • Identify and onboard new organizations in alignment with growth strategies.
  • Analyze market trends, target entity demographics, and competitive position in the local market to support growth initiatives.
  • Represent and enhance the brand's reputation, fulfill its partnership promise, and communicate the organization's value proposition.
  • Build and foster relationships with target organization officials to gain approval and support for promotion of products, services, and benefits.
  • Lead outreach execution for global strategies to increase membership within the approved field of membership expansion strategy.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to drive awareness and engagement across the organization and support the successful onboarding and operationalization of new entities joining the field of membership.
  • Define and track clear metrics to measure the success and impact of field of membership outreach.
  • Collaborate with global member service teams to deliver presentations and support member engagement initiatives.
  • Manage budgets and maintain knowledge of products, partnerships, policies, procedures, and relevant United Nations affairs while supporting additional business needs as required.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience working with the United Nations, non-governmental organizations, or similar organizations is preferred.
