Requirements
  • Active and current DoD Secret Government Clearance.
  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related discipline with 12 years of experience in the areas described in the job description or 10 years of experience with a Master's Degree, or 8 years of experience with a Ph.D. An additional 4 years of experience is acceptable in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience as Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead, Technical lead, or other leadership role in a program office or business function with demonstrated team building, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Engineering leadership experience in a team environment delivering and integrating system bench, RFTG, environmental stress screening, CCAs, and related test equipment.
  • Strong understanding of the Design, Manufacturing and Test process.
  • Fluency with developing and executing project schedules with internal and external manufacturing sites.
  • Experience successfully capturing an executable plan, supporting a program baseline, interfacing with program management, and driving an IPT to meet cost, schedule and technical requirements on a customer funded effort.
  • Experience supporting Risk and Opportunity management.
  • Experience executing capital projects to procure and deliver test equipment.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and direct cross-functional engineering teams during proposal, design, manufacturing, and delivery phases of products in development and production phases.
  • Support proposal development and new program acquisition efforts.
  • Interpret statements of work assigned by program leadership.
  • Develop and execute to project budgets and schedules, including Earned Value Management System (EVMS), critical path management, Estimates-at-Completion (EACs), and workload forecasts.
  • Interface with functional departments to secure team staffing.
  • Work with suppliers and be able to articulate project requirements.
  • Brief internal and customer leadership on progress of work assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in development of complex RF or Digital systems and sub-systems
  • Experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM) managing Earned Value Management System (EVMS) projects
  • PMP certification a plus
  • Active and current Top Secret government clearance a plus
