Requirements
  • 3.5+ to 7+ years of relevant experience in the MEP industry.
  • Demonstrate a high-level of proficiency in design and calculation software.
  • Demonstrates Revit skills from mark-ups through production detailed drawings.
  • Possesses a basic knowledge of construction documentation.
  • Possesses a basic understanding of applicable building codes.
  • Possesses a working knowledge of the construction process (Bid Process, Change Orders, RFI’s, Addenda, Bulletins)
  • Pursues and attains LEED accreditation.
  • EIT required; PE preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Creating basic designs under the direction of the Senior Engineer and/or Senior Designer.
  • Developing specifications, system narratives, and system layouts for a variety of projects of different sizes.
  • Conducting field inspections to determine existing conditions and to coordinate new work.
  • Assisting Senior Engineer in preparation of due diligence, feasibility, gap analysis and other technical reports and drawings.
  • Coordinating with other disciplines and work in close contact with the entire design team.
  • Creating basic designs under the direction of the senior engineer and/or senior designer, performing equipment selections, load/energy and pressure drop calculations for a variety of projects and project sizes.
  • Mastering drawing organization format and company standards.
