Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is required; equivalent banking experience may be considered.
  • Three to five years of client-facing banking experience is required.
  • Strong knowledge of teller functions, client services, deposit accounts, treasury products, banking regulations, and compliance is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  • The role requires written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multitask and operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • The role requires the ability to communicate First Western's products and services effectively and maintain current knowledge of relevant regulations, tax considerations, and internal policies.
  • A notary commission is required within 90 days of hire.
Responsibilities
  • Build and deepen relationships with commercial and complex consumer clients, supporting new accounts, onboarding, service needs, and annual review activities.
  • Manage complex deposit requests and perform teller functions, including cash handling, money movement, and end-of-day processing, accurately and consistently.
  • Support Profit Center operations through audits, security procedures, after-hours security contact duties, and participation in operational deposit initiatives.
  • Provide guidance to Private Banker I team members and collaborate with Operations, Compliance, Loan Operations, and Security to resolve client needs.
  • Participate in business development activities and maintain strong knowledge of bank products, services, regulations, and procedures to ensure compliance and exceptional client support.
