Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Engineering Science, Computer Science, or a related field, and at least 8 years of related experience. Additional relevant work experience may be substituted for a degree.
  • Must have in-depth experience in one or more of the following areas: system architecture, design and development, requirements analysis, data flow design/analysis, network design/implementation, testing, technical system documentation.
  • Must have experience with or very strong familiarity with System Engineering Modeling tools and Model Based Systems Engineering utilizing DODAF and System Modeling Language (SysML) methodology.
  • Must have experience with legacy integration and developing plans for continuous modernization.
  • Must have experience interfacing with government customer and contractor personnel in formulating, reviewing, and effectively executing task plans and completing deliverable items in accordance with approved plans.
  • Must have quality management experience.
  • Must have a proven track record of effectively organizing, monitoring, tracking, and managing project tasks, meeting timelines, and attaining established goals and milestones.
  • Must have demonstrated hands-on work experience creating and delivering written and verbal project communications, to include recurring project status updates, ad hoc technical updates, and impromptu informational programmatic updates.
  • Must have in-depth experience collaborating with technical staff and customers in forming strategies to improve performance and reliability.
  • Must have experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and quickly and effectively resolving issues and adjusting to shifting priorities.
  • Must have experience mentoring staff for the purpose of maintaining high levels of performance and positive morale.
Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with a range of customer technical and senior leadership representatives to execute engineering discovery.
  • Develop the multi-year solution and ensure an integrated approach is utilized to meet customer mission objectives.
  • Help guide technical teams through successful development of a large-scale, highly complex capability development as part of an integrated system development effort.
  • Negotiate and brief various individuals to include company POCs, customers, partners, and subcontractors in the effort to develop a comprehensive architecture artifact.
  • Inspire and successfully work with various diverse, Agile development teams; be team-oriented and focused on supporting the strategic goals of our customer.
