Requirements
  • A Master's Degree, certification as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner, and a Washington State license are required.
  • Successful completion of an accredited Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner program and certification by the appropriate Nursing Certification Board (PNCB or FPNCB) are required.
  • A current Drug Enforcement Administration certificate is required.
  • Applicants must uphold all current vaccine requirements for employment.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience is required.
Responsibilities
  • Provide primary medical care services to Sea Mar Community Health Centers patients in accordance with training, experience, certification, insurance, licensure, and Sea Mar practice guidelines.
  • Work as part of a care team to provide comprehensive services and collaborate with staff to deliver coordinated care.
  • Refer patients to medical specialists or other sources of service when necessary.
  • Prescribe and/or dispense required medication according to the individual prescriptive authority granted by the Washington State Board.
  • Participate in preventive health programs such as immunization, disease detection, and disease prevention activities, including approved education programs for patients and community groups.
  • Participate in clinical affairs and work with administrative personnel, the Medical Director, and the Chief Medical Officer to improve the patient care experience.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of clinical records and patient-care paperwork using a team-based approach.
Desired Qualifications
  • Prior experience in community health is preferred.
  • Bilingual ability in English and Spanish is preferred but not required.
