Business and Operations Internship - Summer 2023
Job Description:
A Business and Operations Intern will be responsible for assisting in creating reports, conducting research, analyzing data, and making recommendations to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
Our Medical Clinics, Wellmax and Pasteur, are leaders in providing primary care services to Medicare Advantage patients. We are a provider with HealthSun Health Plan operating in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach County. We are committed to the care and improvement of health outcomes for our seniors.
How you will make an impact:
Analyzing business goals, objectives, and needs
Helping the business design business processes and make recommendations for improvement
Performing research and analysis in support of operations
Assisting in resolving business issues using systems and data
Helping launch new initiatives
Completing additional projects upon request
Minimum Requirements:
Ability to work 40 hours per week during the duration of the summer internship program
Actively pursuing a degree in business administration or related major during the duration of the internship at an accredited college/university.
Students must be authorized to work in the U.S. without future visa sponsorship requirements
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Excellent Communication skills, both written and oral.
Excellent Problem-solving, Analytical, and Organizational skills
Excellent Public Speaking and Presentation skills
