Requirements
  • Hold a current Florida 2-15 Insurance License or equivalent state license.
  • Have a strong understanding of and experience with alternative funding strategies for employee benefits, including self-funded, captive, and reference-based pricing plans.
  • Have a college degree and supervisory experience, or two years of related benefits marketing experience.
  • Demonstrate strong marketing and communication skills with clients, carriers, and prospects in Employee Health & Benefits.
  • Have intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Be able to organize and maintain electronic files using document management systems.
  • Have knowledge of BenefitPoint and ImageRight, or be willing to quickly learn them.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Responsibilities
  • Ensure benefits marketing meets deadlines with accurate proposals and presentations.
  • Pre-qualify new business and coordinate proposal preparation with producers and account management.
  • Design insurance plans for prospects and coordinate with carriers on applications and quotations.
  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Account Managers, Benefits Consultants or Account Executives, and Client Service teams to produce deliverables.
  • Maintain and develop professional relationships with clients, carriers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Produce marketing activity reports and stay informed on industry trends, products, and technology.
  • Support the team with analytical skills, communication, and multitask management.
  • Provide mentorship, coaching, and development to the current marketing team through ongoing training and performance support to enhance service delivery and professional growth.

Marsh beats Q1 estimates with $7.6B revenue, $3.29 EPS as organic growth hits 5%

Marsh reported Q1 revenue of $7.6 billion, up 7.6% year-over-year, beating the consensus estimate of $7.38 billion by 2.88%. Earnings per share came in at $3.29, compared to $3.06 in the prior-year quarter, surpassing the consensus estimate of $3.21 by 2.46%. Key metrics showed mixed performance against analyst expectations. Consolidated organic revenue growth of 5% exceeded the 3.5% estimate, whilst consulting organic growth of 5% topped the 4.4% forecast. However, Guy Carpenter's organic growth of 2% fell short of the 4.2% estimate. Geographically, Marsh's EMEA division generated $1.21 billion in revenue, up 14.1% year-over-year and beating estimates. Mercer consulting revenue reached $1.66 billion, an 11% increase that surpassed the $1.58 billion consensus.
