Click Therapeutics develops software applications that function as prescription medical treatments for patients with various health conditions. These digital therapeutics are designed to change cognitive and neurobehavioral mechanisms related to diseases, and they can be used independently or alongside traditional treatments. The applications undergo rigorous testing through randomized controlled trials to ensure they are safe and effective before seeking FDA clearance to be marketed as class II medical devices. Unlike many competitors, Click Therapeutics focuses on creating validated software that can be prescribed by physicians and reimbursed by payers, allowing for a unique integration into the healthcare system. The company's goal is to address unmet medical needs through innovative digital solutions, exemplified by their collaboration with Boehringer Ingelheim to develop a digital therapeutic for schizophrenia.
