Overview

We’re excited to be looking for a Product Designer to join our rapidly growing Digital Product team in Brooklyn, NY. Reporting to our VP of Digital Product (and then our Manager, Product Design once they join!), you will create new features and optimize existing experiences for the conversion funnel to provide a best-in-class ecommerce experience.

You’re the perfect person for this role if you are passionate about hearing from users and incorporating the voice of the customer into product design, and have an empathetic, curious, and collaborative approach to your work. If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you!

As a note, our team is returning to the office with a hybrid 3-day in and 2-day remote schedule.

What you’ll do

• Partner with product managers, engineers, data analysts, and cross-functional team members to deliver solutions for small to large-scale features on our digital product roadmap.
• Work in all levels of fidelity to validate designs, communicate design rational, and seek alignment across a variety of stakeholders.
• Support the team through planning, prioritization, and execution of product design deliverable timelines.
• Leverage feedback loops such as competitor landscape reviews, user testing, and design review cycles to iterate on and finalize design deliverables.

We’re looking for someone who brings

• 2+ years of experience in product design, interaction design, or user-experience design (DTC experience is a plus!)
• A strong portfolio of industry-leading design work.
• The ability to understand complex features and marketplace dynamics.
• Strong knowledge of user-centered design methodologies, usability principles, and web-based information architecture and design.
• The ability to be flexible and manage multiple priorities in a high-productivity environment.
• Prior experience partnering with engineering for translating designs into digital experiences.
• Prior experience with prototyping programs (such as Origami, Principle, and After Effects) is a plus.
• Prior experience with Figma is a plus.
• Prior experience leading user experience testing efforts is a plus.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies is a plus.
