  • 10+ years of related E-Trading experience in front office or risk management capacity
  • Strong knowledge of E-Trading specific regulation in NAM/LATAM
  • Demonstrated ability to challenge 1LOD in the effectiveness of their risk and control framework
  • Excellent English written and communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to influence senior management and other stakeholders to successfully implement and deliver change
  • Competence in portraying complex content in a clear, concise, and compelling manner
Responsibilities
  • Maintain rigorous 2LOD challenge to ensure that NAM/LATAM Equities E-Trading activities occur within ETRM’s Risk Management Framework and Risk Appetite
  • Understand the inventory of Equities E-Trading Activities in NAM/LATAM
  • Identify and categorize the risks and controls associated with all Equities E-Trading activities booked in NAM/LATAM Legal Entities
  • Review and challenge of metrics to measure the effectiveness of the First Line of Defence's (1LOD) implementation of the E-Trading framework
  • Establish new and strengthen on-going relationships with key local stakeholders, including Trading Heads and Business Managers, and partner with senior Risk colleagues to drive effective implementation of the E-Trading Risk Management Framework
  • Represent ETRM in control processes such as the E-Trading Risk & Control Council (ET RCC) & New Product Approvals when new NAM/LATAM Equities E-Trading Activities and Strategies are being used
  • Work within the ETRM team to ensure the policy addresses NAM/LATAM Equities specific market and regulatory considerations
  • Drive continuous improvement and enhancement of policies and procedures, and robust governance processes across relevant Citi legal vehicles
  • Ensure Global ETRM team and related risk functions are aware of key local considerations including local Legal Entity and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in key regional and Legal Entity forums
  • Provide a local escalation point for any issues impacting Equities NAM/LATAM E-Trading Risk Management Framework compliance
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in one or more primary risk stripes (Market, Credit, Operational Risk, Model Risk) is preferred
  • Proven track record in working with and presenting to local regulators preferred
  • Experience with and solid understanding of E-Trading technology including system architecture, networks, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), testing and QA very desirable
