Where You’ll Come In
The Acquisition Manager, Affiliate Marketing will be responsible for owning and scaling TFD’s affiliate program. This person will be responsible for growing and managing various partnerships focused on acquiring new subscribers at cost efficient rates. The Acquisition Manager, Affiliate Marketing is responsible for sourcing new partnerships, managing and scaling existing partnerships, improving efficiency, implementing new strategies for scale or audience expansion, and managing all related reporting and data analyses on a consistent and as-needed basis.
A successful Acquisition Manager, Affiliate Marketing will need to have an analytical and data-driven approach to problem solving that is supported by strategic and creative thinking. You must also be impeccable in your communication (you’ll work closely with teams across the business, especially brand,creative, and finance), have 4+ years of experience in partnership management and affiliate marketing (3+ years being autonomous in the management of an affiliate program), be highly organized, and be able to work well under pressure. You need to be eager to learn and excited by challenges (and opportunities!). Within the first 90 days, you’ll be expected to transition to being the main point of contact with existing partners, source and vet new partners, find ways to improve efficiencies with current partners, and be the trusted source for data, insights, and strategy of your channels.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Lead, manage and scale TFD’s existing affiliate program
- Manage relationships with new and existing partners and set them up for success. You know how to translate internal knowledge to provide the right context and level of information to external partners
- Partner with teams across the business to launch new campaigns that drive performance and ensure brand alignment and messaging
- Use your analytical skills to deep dive into daily, weekly, and monthly performance and provide reports/analyses for cross functional knowledge sharing
- Manage inbound affiliate requests while also sourcing new qualified partners. You’ll be consistently growing our program
- Own budgets and pacing, and ensure these always align with the broader business and growth goals
- Conceptualize and execute affiliate strategy for launch of new products
- You’re excited by the challenge of taking on a best-in-class program and innovating, testing, and implementing optimizations that make it materially better
We’re Excited About You Because
- You’ve been autonomously managing an affiliate program for at least 3+ years and have experience with affiliate platforms such as Impact Radius
- You enjoy autonomy and can navigate ambiguity
- You have experience running A/B tests; you use data from the best possible sources needed to explain your experiments’ results and implement any next steps drawn from your conclusions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, adaptability and prioritization of daily/weekly tasks
- You’re collaborative and pride yourself on your strong, effective communication skills
- You’re confident in being direct yet always lead with empathy and kindness
- You react quickly to information, and have strong intuition that plays into your decision making. You own your decisions.
Return-to-work guidelines
We support each other with the flexibility to thrive, expertly and personally. Currently all hybrid team members are asked to be in the office for 2 Gathering Days a week to continue to build a collaborative, lively, and invested environment - a unique in-person culture we are proud of. Gathering Days are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, however the office will be open and available for all Monday through Friday. This hybrid policy can be subject to change at company discretion.

We commit to building a competitive compensation package and company environment for all individuals to thrive. We believe in competitive base compensation rooted in location specific market data and performance along with equity ownership in the company that allows every team member to build their personal wealth as the company grows, just as much as we believe in fostering a culture that supports our team members personally, professionally, and holistically. For this role the anticipated hiring base compensation range is $112,000 - $130,000 USD Annual and the compensation offered will include a robust market competitive package of base and equity. In addition to your base compensation offer you will also receive equity ownership in the company. More information about the value of this equity will be shared at the time of offer.
