The Lifecycle Services organization is looking for individuals to join our Technical Intern Program. This program is intended to develop well rounded interns who have the skills, capabilities, and experience to join Rockwell Automation full time after the completion of 1-3 summer internships. The Technical Intern Program is designed to provide impactful experiences and comprehensive exposure to the business structure of the Lifecycle Services organization, early career program roles, and Rockwell Automation.
While on program, each intern is assigned a dedicated mentor to help navigate the structure of Rockwell Automation, remove daily blockers, and provide career guidance. Additionally, there will be hosted activities and events intended to help you grow your professional network and skills, all while immersing yourself within our company culture. During your first internship, there will be dedicated time to receive hands on technology training and overviews on Rockwell Automation’s core products.
Within the Technical Intern Program, you will have the opportunity to build professional and technical skills in many of the below areas:

Network Services Consultant
Project/Application Engineer
Support Engineer
Early Career Rotational Program Associate
Must be pursuing a bachelor’s or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering/Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or Information Technology from an accredited four-year college or university
Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75
Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future
Prior experience utilizing programmable logic controllers (PLC), programming and designing systems, motor control systems (variable frequency drives or servos), distributed servers, and/or ethernet communicationsis strongly preferred
Prior experience in a customer facing role, with a desire to deliver high-quality customer service
Critical thinking and problem-solving mindset
Passion and drive to continuously learn and develop new skills
Preferably located in the Cleveland, OH area for the summer (2023)
