Requirements
  • An active Secret clearance is required to start with the ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.
  • 5 years' experience with a bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics or a related field; 3 years' experience with a master’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics or a related field; or 9 years' experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Must start with a DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA).
  • Candidate must have demonstratable knowledge and skills for the following:
  • Network design, development, and testing methodologies.
  • OSI Model, TCP/IP, routing protocols BGP and OSPF.
  • Network traffic analysis, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Firewall knowledge in Juniper, Fortinet, and Palo Alto.
  • UDP multicast, SONET, MSPP, VLANs, GRE Tunnels, and TCP/IP network designs.
  • Multi-vendor switching routing (Juniper, Cisco), WAN optimizer, TACLANEs, and optical transport equipment.
  • Effective communicator with excellent writing and presentation skills using Microsoft Office products, especially PowerPoint and Visio.
  • Thrive in a collaborative and agile environment.
Responsibilities
  • Primary Network Engineer supporting the C2BMC Program.
  • Responsible for learning how to plan, deploy, integrate, and test upgrades to the C2BMC network to operational sites and help where needed.
