Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in an MBA program with a graduation date no earlier than December 2022
  • 1+ years of full-time work experience in automotive/AV, startup, consulting, finance or related fields
  • Superb communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Comfortable with navigating both in-the-weeds details and high-level strategy
  • Undergraduate degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, or a related field
  • Prior experience in business development, strategy or product functions
  • Broad understanding of the technical elements of self-driving technologies
  • A passion for all areas of transportation, including self-driving cars, mobility as a service, and vehicle technology
Responsibilities
  • Automotive manufacturers (OEMs) with which we develop self-driving vehicles (e.g. PACCAR, Volvo Trucks, Toyota, and others)
  • Customers who own the networks on which self-driving vehicles powered by the Aurora Driver will be deployed (e.g. Uber, FedEx, and others); and
  • Operational partners who help us maintain and operate our fleet
  • Help craft Auroras partnership strategy by understanding the needs of the OEM and network partner ecosystem, and find alignment with Auroras product vision
  • Support the BD teams work of negotiating large, complex, deals between Aurora and OEMs and networks
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, product, legal, finance, and strategy teams
