About The Role
The Account Executive will be responsible for driving revenue by selling our G2 Track solution to Finance and IT teams in the software industry. This individual should be a proven hunter and closer who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic sales environment. The opportunity awards accelerated compensation and career progression for driven, top performers.
We launched G2 Track to help companies track and manage all of the software and cloud services their teams are paying for. Initial feedback from the tech community has been overwhelmingly positive and Track is already being used by 1,500+ companies with a total of $30 billion USD in annualized spend - including over $5 billion in software.
Responsibilities
- Drive revenue by meeting individual sales quota
- Conduct web-based sales presentations on G2 Track
- Effectively engage with vendors by email and phone from initial contact to closed deal
- Prospect and drive new business in an assigned territory
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline to meet sales goals
- Effectively multi-thread into accounts and identify champions + decision makers
- Build a deep understanding of IT and Finance decision makers, and understanding their pain points, ways they are measured
Requirements
- 2-5 years of quota carrying sales experience
- Experience in a B2B sales environment
- Experience in the software, technology, or digital marketing industry
- A driven and competitive personality
- Outstanding presentation and communication skills
- The ability to learn quickly and work independently in a fast-paced environment
