Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or science
  • 10+ years experience as a Project Manager or 5+ years with Project Management Professional certification
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five years
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and related tools

  • Occasional travel may be required and travel must be coordinated and approved
  • Work shall be conducted at or in proximity to CONUS - specific states listed (IL, IN, KY, MI, OH, WV, PA, VA, NC, MN, NY, TN)
  • All employees must be eligible for a Facility Access Authorization by the U.S. Government Security Office

Responsibilities
  • Participate and support project requirements for Environmental Engineering and Architectural Engineering Services, including performing environmental studies, designs, and general support of environmental issues under RCRA, CERCLA, SARA, TSCA, CWA and other federal programs
  • Perform environmental studies and designs and overall support of environmental issues under state and local environmental laws and regulations
  • Conduct site investigations and assessments; remedial investigations/feasibility studies; remedial designs
  • Conduct feasibility and other engineering studies and reports; prepare Environmental Condition of Property reports
  • Perform National Environmental Policy Act analyses and documentation; conduct archaeological investigations and mitigation; biological evaluations and assessments
  • Perform wetlands determinations and mitigation studies; groundwater and other modeling
  • Analyze contaminant fate and transport; conduct surveying and mapping; coordinate with community relations and regulatory agencies; provide construction-phase services including engineering design during construction and shop drawing checks; prepare plans and specifications
  • Conduct value engineering and sustainability screenings; evaluate reasonably foreseeable renewable energy sources; conduct pilot studies; perform human health and ecological risk assessments; hazard evaluations
  • Perform field inspections; develop Data Quality Objectives; conduct chemical quality assurance/quality control; sample and test surface/subsurface soil, sediment, and rock; subsurface exploration; water sampling/testing; laboratory analyses (water, soil, lead paint, asbestos, etc.); provide cost estimating and engineering
  • Work on hazardous waste and environmental projects including radioactive and mixed waste; energy conservation, sustainable remediation, pollution prevention, and site characterization for military munitions; perform preliminary assessments, site inspections, remedial investigations, and feasibility studies for on-site munitions services; ensure OSHA-compliant health and safety for on-site investigations
