Requirements
  • 1+ years of machine design / mechatronics experience in industry
  • Proficiency with CAD based design (OnShape preferred, Solidworks is good)
  • Familiarity with rapid prototyping (3D printing, sheet metal, welding, and machining)
  • Comfort around machine tools and ability to fabricate concepts in-house
Responsibilities
  • Own components of the design, development and implementation of new, scalable industrial automation systems from concept, to prototype, to production.
  • Design automation work cells including robotic, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and safety components.
  • Support existing deployments with spares, part replacements, part re-design.
  • Lead design reviews and facilitate communication both internally and externally with customers and vendors.
