Requirements
  • Applicants must be licensed Registered Nurses.
  • Florida-based RNs will be expected to obtain compact licensure after hire; RNs from other states must possess compact licensure prior to starting.
  • Maintain current licensure and/or certification.
Responsibilities
  • Preparing equipment and assisting on-site physician(s) during examination and treatments.
  • Administering prescribed medications, drawing blood, cleaning wounds, and changing dressings.
  • Monitoring patient vital signs.
  • Observing and maintaining medical records on patient care, condition, reaction, and progress.
  • Managing the scheduling system and day-to-day office schedules.
  • Managing center and administrative duties such as ordering and restocking supplies.
  • Adapt to changes in job duties as needed in the Health and Wellness Center.
  • Rotate between two Jacksonville locations as needed to support operational coverage and continuity of care.
  • Occasionally may have to cover other clinic locations.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - The 2025 Black Achievers Awards will be recognizing community trailblazers on Wednesday in Fort Lauderdale. For 33 years, JM Family Enterprises has been presenting the awards, formerly known as the African-American Achievers Awards. Shirley Richardson and Patricia E. Williams, of the M. Ensemble, a theater company, are set to accept the award in the arts and culture category. Dr. Herman Allen, a dental surgeon at the Medical Center in Lauderhill, is set to accept the award in the business and entrepreneurship category. Henri W. Crockett, a retired NFL player who was a linebacker at Florida State University and grew up in Pompano Beach, is set to accept the award in the community service category for his work with The Crockett Foundation.
