Requirements
  • Qualification: B.Tech/Diploma in Ceramics
  • Work Experience: 10+ years
  • Age limit: 45 years.
  • Knowledge on production of Acidic, high alumina & basic bricks (burnt & unburnt)
  • Knowledge on study of drawing and understand shapes.
  • Knowledge on SAP PP module.
  • Basic knowledge on computer operating like MS office.
Responsibilities
  • Following, respecting & establishing all EHS guidelines, protocols etc in workplace
  • Ensuring production planning as per Sales orders/releases and provide requisition of raw materials/chemical/Moulds/Spares/Packing materials etc for timely availability at site.
  • Ensuring Production of Bricks as per production order to meet the delivery schedule.
  • Ensuring reading of drawing of shapes, indent preparation for Moulds/other inputs. Follow up for Moulds for timely delivery. Checking of Moulds and ensure first piece checking before allowing bulk production.
  • Ensuring product costing and circulate to sales & marketing as and when require basis.
  • Ensuring to achieve all operation related KPI’s as per CER and continuous improvement on KPI’s.
  • Ensuring to develop strong team to achieve organization short term & long-term goals.
  • Ensuring kiln loading & unloading and firing/drying as per schedule provided by QC team
  • Ensuring booking of production in SAP and match book stock & physical stock
  • Ensuring monthly closing on time to capture correct data in terms cost booking.
  • Ensuring participation and encourage team in KAIZENS (improvements jobs)
  • Participation in all EHS initiatives
  • Ensuring proper coordination with other departments
  • Ensuring proper allocation of manpower & machine to achieve best efficiency.
  • Production dashboard management and ensure 5S culture at shopfloor
  • Ensure regular training to improve technical & soft skills of operation team.
  • Handling of customer complaints related product dimensions, appearance and manufacturing defects etc.

  • Preferred: Work experience in Refractory bricks manufacturing process.

Serving all the Group's core markets—including foundry, iron and steel, aluminum, and cement— it will play a crucial role in helping customers navigate their green energy transition challenges. Construction is expected to be complete by late 2025.Strategic locationNeuwied is the Group's European largest production site and has been a recognized center for innovation since 1955, leveraging Germany's reputation in metallurgy and refractory industries.  Locating the Innovation Center close to the Neuwied facility provides easy access to industrial and scale-up trials, ensuring greater collaboration and support between the Innovation Technology, Quality Control, and Production teams. It will also benefit from its proximity to other Calderys sites and their distinct processes for producing monolithics, steel casting fluxes and molding solutions. A multicultural team of experts dedicated to advancing research and development has been reinforced over the past month, with potential additional recruitments in the future.The Neuwied location also offers access to the expertise of local talent pool, partnerships, and collaboration with prestigious academic institutions such as RWTH Aachen, the University of Koblenz, and the University of Liege in Belgium, along with industry resources, such as the European Centre for Refractories (ECREF) and the FGF (Research Association for Refractories).Advanced equipmentThe facility will include modular rooms to accommodate a range of RD activities, fully connected infrastructure with air, water, dedusting, IT, and ventilation facilities, and a showroom to highlight innovation work and results.State-of-the-art equipment will include advanced machinery for determining high-temperature properties, mineralogical and chemical composition and imaging for in-house advanced materials characterization.
