Requirements
  • A minimum high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Candidates must be able to work nights and weekends as required.
  • Candidates must be available and on time for scheduled work shifts.
  • Candidates must have knowledge of the RX computer system.
  • New Hampshire employees must be registered with the State of New Hampshire as a Pharmacy Technician.
  • Vermont employees must be registered with the State of Vermont as a Pharmacy Technician.
  • Ohio employees must be registered with the State of Ohio as a Pharmacy Technician.
  • Employees must complete all mandatory and regulatory training programs.
Responsibilities
  • Work under direct supervision and accurately fill medication orders.
  • Package medication orders according to prescription-label directions.
  • Ensure products are accurate and neatly packaged.
  • Assist with inventory control, including handling credits and restocking inventory.
  • Count, seal, and label prescription cards.
  • Pull drugs and match the National Drug Code to prescription labels.
  • Return inventory to its proper place.
  • Assist with maintaining the upkeep and cleanliness of each workstation and the facility.
  • Maintain reasonable production levels as determined by the supervisor.
  • Maintain all assigned quality assurances.
  • Assist in keeping adequate stocking levels.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • An associate degree or higher in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
  • Hospital or retail pharmacy experience is preferred.
