Requirements
  • Restorative Nursing Assistant certification.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.

  • A current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate and Restorative Nursing Assistant training.

  • Ability to stand and walk frequently and sit occasionally, with occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
  • Ability to reach, push, pull, lift, and manipulate objects and equipment, including loads that may exceed 100 pounds occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, or 20 pounds constantly.
  • Effective talking and hearing for interaction with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
  • Ability to perceive and respond to tactile, auditory, and visual environmental information.
  • Ability to assist, support, and transport patients using safe patient-handling practices.
Responsibilities
  • Provide assigned residents with routine restorative nursing care and services according to their assessments and care plans under supervisor direction.
  • Assist residents with restorative exercises to improve or maintain mobility, strength, and functional independence.
  • Encourage resident participation in activities and out-of-bed mobility unless medically contraindicated.
  • Assist with dining, splinting, transfers, ambulation, and active or passive range-of-motion activities as directed by rehabilitation and nursing staff.
  • Obtain and accurately record resident weights as ordered or required by facility protocol, and report significant changes to nursing staff.
  • Ensure residents have clean, well-fitting clothing and linens in good repair.
  • Assist residents with toileting, bathing, dressing, and other activities of daily living.
  • Reposition residents regularly to promote comfort and prevent skin-integrity issues.
  • Support residents in maintaining personal cleanliness and freedom from offensive odors.
  • Participate in restorative nursing assistant meetings with the Rehabilitation and Nursing Departments to monitor prescribed programs.
  • Complete accurate documentation and charting of all care provided.
  • Maintain a therapeutic environment characterized by warmth, respect, and calmness.
  • Report significant changes in condition, abnormal findings, or potential concerns to the Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nursing, and/or Rehabilitation Department.
  • Assist residents in preparing for medical tests, treatments, appointments, social activities, and daily meals.
  • Assist with elimination needs, including emptying catheter bags and sanitizing and maintaining bedpans, urinals, and bedside commodes.
  • Promote personal hygiene through skin care, bathing, hair care, oral hygiene, shaving or beard trimming, and nail care according to facility policy.
  • Apply pressure-relieving devices and implement skin-protective measures to reduce the risk of skin breakdown.

PACS Group beats Q1 estimates with $0.50 EPS and $1.42B revenue despite 12.5% year-to-date stock decline

PACS Group acquires Alaska care facility, plans 150-bed skilled nursing centre by 2028

PACS Group has acquired Ridgeway Senior Living, a post-acute care facility in Anchorage, Alaska, marking its fourth property in the state. PACS Group has appointed Carey P. Hendrickson as chief financial officer, effective 27 April 2026. Hendrickson brings nearly four decades of financial leadership across healthcare, senior living and media sectors. Most recently, Hendrickson served as CFO of U.S. Physical Therapy, overseeing 779 outpatient clinics across 44 states. He previously held CFO roles at Capital Senior Living Corporation, managing 128 communities across 23 states, and Belo Corp. He succeeds Mark Hancock, PACS's co-founder and executive vice chairman, who will retire by 30 June 2026 whilst remaining on the board as vice chairman. PACS Group has announced that co-founder and chief financial officer Mark Hancock will retire on 30 June 2026. He will continue serving on the company's board of directors as vice chairman. Hancock co-founded PACS in 2013 with Jason Murray, starting with two post-acute care facilities in San Diego. Under his leadership, the company expanded to 323 facilities across 17 states, serving over 31,700 patients daily and generating $5.29 billion in revenue in 2025, representing 29.3% year-on-year growth. Hancock guided PACS through its successful initial public offering on the New York Stock Exchange in April 2024 and served as interim CFO from September 2025. He will be succeeded by Carey P. PACS Group, a leading post-acute healthcare platform, has appointed Dr Patrick Conway to its board of directors. Dr Conway currently serves as CEO of Optum, UnitedHealth Group's health services division with revenues exceeding $200 billion. From 2011 to 2017, Dr Conway served as deputy administrator for innovation and quality at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, where he also held roles as director of the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation and chief medical officer.
