Requirements
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry, preferably in an existing payer partnerships or health plans business development role
  • Understanding of health plan and provider business models
  • Experience building a payer partnerships program from the ground up
  • A virtual rolodex of pre-existing payer contacts
  • Exposure to clinicians that provide mental health and/or telehealth services
  • Strong relationship builder who enjoys collaborating across all levels of a smaller organization
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and seeks opportunities to shape company strategy and initiatives
  • Thoughtful and operationally excellent to set up processes and frameworks to achieve individual and team success

Responsibilities
  • Orchestrate strategic contract negotiations across various US markets, drive revenue growth, and enhance payer relationships at national level
  • Navigate contract strategy and renegotiations to optimize BetterHelp and payer partnership success
  • Build and grow relationships with health plan key contacts and leadership
  • Leverage market and client data to identify new payer partnership opportunities
  • Build processes to set up and eventually lead a successful payer partnership team
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to execute strategy and grow insured client population
  • Collaborate with cross functional, internal stakeholders to deliver insights that inform product and operational strategy
