Requirements
  • Completed Master’s in Technical Engineering or comparable.
  • Good knowledge on Lean manufacturing principles.
  • Experience of manufacturing and knowledge of hydraulics through relevant industrial internships.
  • Strong Microsoft Office and IT skills and sound project management experience.
  • Willingness to travel at home and abroad as a part of the job rotation.
  • Must have completed a Masters education in the relevant subject mentioned in the job description.

Responsibilities
  • Acquire an in-depth insight and understanding of the engineering and manufacturing of Hydraulic cartridge valves and manifolds.
  • Gain a subject matter expertise of Manufacturing Cost Per Unit, initiating a toolset that enables a data-driven approach to operational and non-operational business improvements.
  • Drive the Manufacturing Excellence strategy for competitiveness across all manufacturing technologies in our global operations footprint to attain competitiveness targets and key-results.
  • Gain an understanding of value streams from source to make and deliver on how Lean Manufacturing can improve efficiency through active participation in efficiency improvement projects.
  • Prioritise digitalisation and AI projects to enhance manufacturing practices.
  • Develop comprehensive understanding of Technical Functions with the opportunity of being placed in different fields within the Manufacturing setting (Manufacturing Engineering Support, Manufacturing Operations, Bosch Production Systems, Manufacturing Coordination, Business Digital Organisation).
  • Take on duties and get to know all aspects of your field in manufacturing as well as in day-to-day business.
  • Design and develop lean manufacturing cells, through analysis of process needs to include process assembly and test equipment; work with Manufacturing Services to ensure factory layouts are kept up-to-date and meet business requirements as practices change and evolve.

Neurophos has raised $110 million in an oversubscribed Series A round to accelerate the commercialization of its photonic AI chip technology, positioning the Austin-based company to push beyond the power and scalability limits facing today’s AI infrastructure. Gates' VC fund leads $110M funding for AI chip startup Neurophos

Neurophos Inc., a chip startup developing technology to outperform AI accelerators, has raised $110 million in funding led by Gates Frontier, Bill Gates' venture capital fund. Microsoft's M12 and Aramco Ventures, the investment arm of Saudi Arabia's state-owned oil producer, also participated. Additional investors in the round included Bosch Ventures, Tectonic Ventures and Space Capital. The company aims to develop new chip technology capable of surpassing current accelerators used to run AI models.
