Software Engineer

In Private Wealth Management, we help our clients pursue their wealth management goals through careful advice & astute investment management. We work closely with high-net-worth individuals, families and select foundations and endowments to develop wealth and investment management strategies. We then identify investment opportunities to help them reach their objectives. We complement these services with robust execution capabilities and attentive client service. 

PWM Client Communications Platform team, part of PWM Technology, is responsible for building a strategic platform to deliver communications (E.g.- Statements, Tax Documents,..) to clients through various channels. Team is on a mission to execute a multi-year strategy to build the platform be used for new regulatory & business communications in addition to migrate existing communications into the new platform. 

Platform comprises of scalable micro-services to fulfill various steps in journey of sending communications to clients using even driven frameworks. Platform enables others technology applications to integrate with it to send their communications. Business users can create communications using rich user interface. Platform should be capable of managing large volumes of communication requests (in order of multi millions) with varying time sensitivity.  using priority across multiple tenants via queue/event-based frameworks. 

Our team of engineers builds solutions to most complex problems and has the opportunity to work with business & operations as stakeholders. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with various stakeholders, including Architects to develop innovative solutions addressing the current challenges.

Responsibilities:

1. Act as hands on developer writing code, test & deploy the software. 
2. Contribute to the design of the components owned considering scalability and extensibility. 
3. Produce high quality code writing automated test cases.
4. Participate in requirements, design, testing cycles and deployment of the software.

Basic Qualifications

1. 4+ years of experience in Java, REST services
2. 2+ years of experience working on Spring/Spring boot
3. Experience writing automated unit and integrated test cases.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience in No-SQL databases (e.g. – MongoDB)
2. Experience working on observability using Prometheus.
