Requirements
  • This role requires working in the office.
  • A Bachelor's and/or Master's of Architecture degree from a National Architectural Accrediting Board-accredited architecture program or equivalent is required.
  • At least 6 years of experience in commercial design, including at least 4 years of experience in multifamily projects, is required.
  • Experience coordinating and leading project teams is required.
  • Revit proficiency and technical excellence are required.
  • A thorough understanding of how a drawing set goes together is required.
  • The ability to present information clearly and interact with clients, consultants, and contractors is required.
  • An understanding of building and accessibility codes, construction methods, and constructability is required.
Responsibilities
  • Generate creative design solutions within the functional parameters of a project.
  • Prepare and coordinate all project deliverables.
  • Manage contract administration responsibilities.
  • Coordinate with a variety of consultants.
  • Provide leadership to staff.
  • Manage client relations and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Function in a team lead capacity while working on multiple projects.
  • Assist with creating and managing project schedules.
  • Develop and present appropriate technical solutions to stakeholders.
  • Assist with leading project studio team members, leveraging their strengths, and providing mentorship.
  • Proactively resolve issues between project, design, and technical objectives in coordination with the Project Manager.
  • Execute coordination and integration of architectural and consultant documents.
  • Seek innovative design solutions to improve project performance.
  • Apply appropriate industry standards and construction practices.
  • Maintain awareness of and appropriately apply new methodologies, practices, codes, and products.
  • Attend and conduct presentations.

  • Experience with Type III and/or Type V construction projects.
  • Potential travel opportunities.
