Who You Are:
As Visual Design Co-op, you will support the marketing team across the full design process – including research, conceptualization, crafting, and execution. In this role you’ll assist in the creation of work ranging from social media creative, digital ads, presentation decks, and other brand touchpoints. You’re creative, ambitious, and collaborative, and excited to learn while making an impact on Hometap’s brand and vision. You bring a creative eye, original ideas, and a keen eye for detail. As an co-op, you’ll work closely with a mentor who will provide guidance, supervision, and feedback throughout your time at Hometap. Please submit a portfolio along with your application.
What you’ll do:
- Collaborate with the Hometap design team to conceptualize and execute design projects
- Work closely with the creative team to generate visuals for various Hometap platforms, campaigns, and projects, following the specific requirements of each project
- Receive mentorship, with an opportunity to leverage feedback from full-time designers to build your skillset and make meaningful contributions
- Gain a thorough understanding of Hometap’s concept, brand, homeowner personas, and goals
What you’ll bring:
- Degree (or working toward a degree) in Design
- Strong creative skills and understanding of design principles as demonstrated by a strong portfolio that showcases your pixel perfect design work
- Experience with design software and graphics editing software, such as Sketch or Figma as well as Adobe Creative Suite
- Ability to work well within a team
- Excellent time management skills
- Knowledge of social media channels & applications
- A talent for creativity and problem-solving
