Responsibilities
  • Applies advanced understanding of multiple project management methodologies across a large range of strategic and complex projects and programs within or on behalf of their function.
  • Utilizes program management skills and experience to navigate uncertain and ambiguous scenarios, and create and maintain momentum in a highly matrixed, highly complex and fast paced working environment.
  • Collaborates with and at times leads internal stakeholders to define milestones, tasks and activities needed to achieve program goals, ensure appropriate impact, and/or produce desired outputs.
  • Independently manages change, negotiates deadlines and deliverables with stakeholders, prioritizes work, manages conflict.
  • Considers cross-functional inputs, identifies collaborative opportunities and key stakeholders within/across projects, and balances competing business objectives.
  • Identifies potential risks, tracks the risks to determine potential impact, and works with stakeholders to drive consensus around mitigation plans; elevates issues to senior team members as needed.
  • Drives discussions to reach consensus and capture key decisions made, challenging decisions as needed to seek the best solution for customers and the business.
  • Influences customer experience with demonstrable business impact.
  • Defines key performance indicators (KPIs) and collaborates with business operations teams to implement KPIs and post-project tracking.
  • Serves as a point of contact to answer questions, provide feedback, and review work.
  • Uses a portfolio-wide perspective to ensure that the team delivers high-quality deliverables that meet customer and business priorities and timelines.
  • Collaborates with internal teams (e.g., Revenue, Product, Operations, Education, Marketing, Legal, Corporate External and Legal Affairs, Human Resources, Design) to inform all relevant partners about the customer experience and wider business processes.
  • Consistently identifies and defines business and process improvement plans for the initiative/program that are aligned to the cadence of the business and its strategy and goals.
  • Communicates status updates and ensures alignment with wider programs and strategic direction.
  • Sets outcome goals and charter, alongside accurate expectations for content and activity delivery, and helps lead teams and colleagues across the business in timely delivery.
  • Drives large scale improvements through complexity to enhance efficiency and/or customer experience.
  • Finds opportunities for company-wide improvement programs to enhance internal and external experiences and internal business operating processes.
  • Finds opportunities to take learnings from previous projects and seeks to apply to wider applications across the business for greater impact.
  • Ensures stakeholder alignment and comfort in high pressure, complex scenarios to lead the business in defining activities, strategies, solutions, processes, procedures, and mitigation actions/decisions.
  • Takes a strategic approach and assists to develop an overall plan for ongoing relations and interactions with stakeholders.
  • Analyzes business and program needs and adapts to how current and new requirements may change.
  • Drives the rhythm of business (ROB) in regards to individual program goals to ensure program/business goals.
  • Collaborates and consults with internal stakeholders as necessary to maintain momentum and support program execution.
  • Manages critical or time-sensitive issues/changes to their program.
  • Uses business knowledge to assist with analyzing the work of other internal teams to identify potential future business opportunities.
  • Identifies organizational, cultural, industry, and competitive trends, and their impact on customer experiences based on feedback.
  • Shares knowledge, best practices, and thought leadership insights across teams and projects.
  • Participates in innovation efforts with other teams.
