  • Effectiveness in working across organizational boundaries to define, manage, and prioritize work
  • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills; the ability to communicate complex docs decisions clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization
  • Must have demonstrated success in both project management and team management
  • Provide leadership, direction, and mentorship for a team of technical writers at varying levels of experience; lead creative and integrated thinking across diverse product releases and ship documentation improvements that enhance our security platform
  • Plan and implement long-term strategic initiatives within docs and be able to drive that strategy with engineering teams, product, and higher-level doc stakeholders
  • Build strong relationships and collaborate closely with a variety of fields (Engineering, Marketing, CS) inside and outside the core product team to efficiently implement user focused content that is cohesive, well-informed, and build on touchpoints that support users
  • Be responsible for and effectively advocate for users, imparting day-to-day documentation leadership that fosters a shared understanding of the user-centric intersection between content, business, apdesign, and engineering
