Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Quality, or related technical discipline
  • 3+ years of experience in quality or process engineering
  • Battery or chemical manufacturing experience highly preferred
  • Knowledge of PFMEA and DFMEA required
  • Expertise with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, PowerAutomate, PowerApp) highly desirable
  • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (e.g. IATF 16949, ISO 9001) preferred
  • Experience with new product introductions and transitioning products from R&D to high volume manufacturing highly desirable
  • Exceptional mechanical aptitude
  • Proven track record of driving continuous quality improvement in a manufacturing environment
  • Structured problem-solving and analytical skills including strong technical skills in statistical tools such as Design of Experiments
  • Self-motivated rapid learner, who thrives in a fast-paced start-up environment
  • Excellent project management, communication, and organizational skills
Responsibilities
  • Develop sampling plans using various sampling methods
  • Analyze data for quality improvement and process capability
  • Monitor production processes to assure quality
  • Provide cross-departmental engineering support
  • Facilitate problem-solving techniques for root cause analysis
  • Run small to medium capital projects
