  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Development, or related fields of study
  • Basic understanding of OOP and REST
  • Knowledge of Microsoft technology stack, including .NET, C#, Azure
  • Experience with Visual studio, GIT
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work cross functionally with front end and quality engineers
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Responsibilities
  • Developing and maintaining development platforms for the Chamberlain myQ program
  • Producing high quality, maintainable and scalable software to support IoT applications following established coding standards
  • Working using Agile methodologies such as Scrum to develop middleware
  • Participating in peer reviews and pull requests to yield high quality software
  • Collaborating with other members of the scrum team to provide requirements traceability from definition to implementation
  • Partnering with senior engineers to implement software features of limited scope
  • Raising concerns with development activities to increase code quality
  • Contributing to technical discussions in community of practice, design review, or other technical meeting forums under direction of the team's dev lead
  • Adhering to coding standards and other best practices to create reusable code
  • Contributing to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed
