Logistics Associate @ BStock Solutions

JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Logistics Operations Supervisor, this associate position will play a critical role in buyer/carrier support and upholding strong relationships with each partner. The associate will be responsible for carrier escalation, aged order tracking, exception management, and distribution of information to key stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Day-to-day exception management of logistics-related activities including shipping discrepancies and TMS order cancellations
Act as a primary liaison between logistics partner and internal teams regarding disputes
Develop and maintain relationships with B-Stock’s key logistics partners and buyers
Work with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement across all B-Stock functions
Develop and maintain SOP’s for shipping disputes and escalations
Ensure track/trace of shipments are monitored and key stakeholders are aware of any delays
Cross-train on other associate responsibilities to provide coverage when needed
Manage special projects and perform analyses as requested

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, JOB SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Highly organized individual with strong attention to detail
Strong self-starter with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment
Ability to think critically and solve problems quickly and accurately
Ability to work in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
Previous experience working with logistics/transportation brokerage is preferred
Acquired experience using Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems preferred
Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel experience preferred
Bachelor’s Degree or Associate Degree preferred
