  • For skilled nursing communities, licensure as a Nursing Home Administrator in the appropriate state is required.
  • For stand-alone housing communities, the candidate must be licensed where applicable or meet state-specific criteria to operate housing.
Responsibilities
  • Account for the operations of an assigned Benedictine-owned or managed community, ensuring sustainability, regulatory compliance, profitability, resident and family satisfaction, associate satisfaction, and alignment with Benedictine's mission and values.
  • Conduct and review findings from internal operational audits and reports, identify potential problems, and develop and implement operational improvement plans as necessary.
  • Manage the selection, training, leadership development, and performance of assigned leadership to retain a professional and motivated workforce.
  • Recruit, screen, and hire qualified associates for vacant positions at assigned communities while adhering to affirmative action requirements and hiring practices.
  • Work with the Vice President of Operations to develop operational tactical plans and execute strategic direction supporting the long-term goals of Benedictine or the community.
  • Integrate action plans and strategy alignment to achieve intended outcomes.
  • Develop and implement the budget for the assigned community to achieve sustainability and profitability goals.
  • Promote Benedictine's mission and core values of Hospitality, Stewardship, Respect, and Justice in day-to-day company activities.
Desired Qualifications
  • Two or more years of long-term care administrator experience are preferred for skilled nursing communities.
  • Three or more years of housing experience are preferred for stand-alone housing communities.
