  • A Bachelor’s degree in nursing is required.
  • RN experience in an acute-care psychiatry setting is required.
  • A current New York State Registered Nurse license is required, or the candidate must be willing to obtain one.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification is required.
  • The employee must be able to work on-site and live within a commutable distance to NewYork-Presbyterian.
  • The employee must work the per diem night shift.
Responsibilities
  • Practice evidence-based nursing at the bedside.
  • Provide patient care in an acute-care psychiatry setting.
  • Support patient outcomes and the health of patients and their families.
  • Participate in shared clinical decision-making and collaborate with the nursing team.
