- A Bachelor’s degree in nursing is required.
- RN experience in an acute-care psychiatry setting is required.
- A current New York State Registered Nurse license is required, or the candidate must be willing to obtain one.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification is required.
- The employee must be able to work on-site and live within a commutable distance to NewYork-Presbyterian.
- The employee must work the per diem night shift.
- Practice evidence-based nursing at the bedside.
- Provide patient care in an acute-care psychiatry setting.
- Support patient outcomes and the health of patients and their families.
- Participate in shared clinical decision-making and collaborate with the nursing team.
